Lifeguard on Duty (“Lifeguard on Duty,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Customer Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you purchase pool safety products from us, contact our team, sign up for updates, or otherwise interact with our website, stores, and customer service channels (collectively, the “Services”). It also describes the privacy rights available to residents of the United States, including specific rights for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”).
By using the Services or providing us with personal information, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Services or share your information with us.
This Policy applies to personal information we collect from customers and prospective customers in the United States in connection with our pool safety products and related Services. It does not apply to information collected by third-party websites, services, or applications that may be linked to or from our Services, which are governed by their own privacy practices.
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you place an order, request a quote, register an account, sign up for our newsletter or product updates, contact customer support, or otherwise communicate with us. The categories of personal information we collect include:
We do not knowingly collect Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, biometric information, health information, or other categories of “sensitive personal information” through our customer interactions. If our practices change, we will update this Policy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 without appropriate parental consent. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us so we can delete it.
We use the personal information we collect for the following business purposes:
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share your personal information with third parties for their own cross-context behavioral advertising. We share personal information only as described below:
Our website may use a limited set of strictly necessary cookies to operate the site (for example, to remember items in your cart or keep you signed in). We do not use the personal information collected from customers (name, email, phone) to track you across other websites or services. If we begin using analytics or advertising cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and provide appropriate choices.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to provide the Services, comply with our legal, accounting, tax, and reporting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When personal information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage, however, is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping any account credentials confidential.
Depending on the state in which you reside, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email or by contacting us directly. You may opt out of marketing text messages by replying STOP to any message.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA provides you with the rights described in Section 9 above. This section provides additional disclosures required by California law.

California residents may submit a verifiable consumer request by emailing [email protected] or calling 1-800-000-0000. We will need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests, which may include confirming information you have previously provided to us. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, in which case we will require written authorization and may verify the agent’s identity. We will respond to verifiable requests within the timeframes required by law (generally within 45 days, with the possibility of one 45-day extension where reasonably necessary).
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including, where applicable, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and others — may have rights similar to those described in Section 9.
