Pool Fence Installation in Bakersfield, CA

State law calls for an enclosure at least 60 inches tall, with a small gap under it and no opening that lets a small child through. Gates swing away from the pool, close and latch on their own, with the latch high out of a small child’s reach. The outside surface should have nothing a child under five could use to climb. Local rules can add to this.

A new or remodeled private pool needs at least two of seven drowning-prevention features under state law. A removable mesh pool fence that meets the recognized industry standard, with a self-closing, self-latching gate, is one of them.

The state rules apply when a permit is issued for a new or remodeled pool. Existing pools may fall under different rules, so check with your local building department.

Pool fence installation cost depends on fence length, gates, the surface the posts go into and whether you choose a removable or a permanent fence. A free assessment gives you a quote for your yard. Ask about service details and pricing when you request it.
